use hot oil treatments, like jojoba oil, condition before you shampoo and when u shampoo only do the scalp. the soap will run down the shaft so ther eis no need to scrub your hair.. condition again, and use a deep conditioner about once a week. Rinse your hair with COLD water. you'll get used to it. it's much much better for your hair. air dry whenever possible, but if you must blot, use paper towels.

Only run your hands through wet hair, avoid combing or brushing. if you can, stop using brushes for a while alltogether, but if and when you do brush use a boar bristle brush, comb through first with a wide-toothed comb then brush down from th e scalp to draw the natural oils downt he shaft of your hair.

Do not use styling products or blowdryers. These are extremely wearing to your hair. No hair dye either. If you must change the color use Henna, it only alters the condition of your hair by coating the shafts with a natural protein.

apply olive oil while hair is stiil a little wet.rub vigorously into scalp.

apply egg's yolk mix with one tea spoon honey, one tea spoon olive oil , one tea spoon lemon juice into your hair and leave them for one hour. then wash it away. try this once a week. and massage olive oil into your hair twice a week. drink coconut water. and your hairs will be so beautiful and strong.

I have very dry hair too, and I think over the years I tried every combination of shampoo, conditioner and treatements out there. Then I finally listened to my Mother...ha ha.

There is a product called Alberto VO5. It is oil-based, I'm sure, and you just use the tiniest dab of it, rub it into your clean dry hair, and your hair will be shiny and nice all day..honest.

It's an old product, I know my Grandmother and Mother both used it. Give it a try, it's only about $3, and well worth a try.

Dye was the single worse thing I have ever done to my hair to ruin it's texture. Perhaps I might buy one of those clear bottles of gloss hair color that is not permanent. I have fine, soft hair and dying is very bad for it. Perms are really hard on it too.

After I stopped messing with it and let it grow out, I have my natural texture back again. For occasional frizzies there are serums that you can dab into your hair to smooth it out. Use a deep conditioner every once in a while. I used one with placenta of some kind once. I think it was called fermadyl or something like that. It worked very well.

Try Dove intense damage hair conditioner in the dark blue bottle, it is the only thing that has worked for me...but then I havent tried the oil or egg thing either.

Definitely do some sort of oil treatement. Personally, I like coconut oil. It's not as heavy as olive oil and soaks into your hair right done to the middle of the shaft ( since olive oil is heavy, it sometimes doesn't soak in all the way) What I do is, once a week on a Saturday, I put a whole bunch of coconut oil into my DRY hair and tie it up into a bun. Then, go do all my house work. ( you may need to out a towel around your shoulders b/c it may drip a bit). Then, once I'm done all my laundry %26amp; cleaning (about 2 hours) I jump in the shower and wash my hair (sometimes need to shampoo twice) then condition it too. After this, my hair is so soft %26amp; shiny !

Take

1 cup -water

1 tsp -honey

Mix both and after you have washed your hair rince hair with honey water ,do not add oother water and let dry
