I've been dying my hair for the past year, every 3 months. I stopped dying my hair about a month ago. I go and get deep conditionings, I use shampoo and a LOT of conitioner and leave it in for 3 minutes. I also get regular trims. So..any advice? Do you recommend anything?

Stop dying your hair. Avoid straightening your hair as much as possible. At most, straighten or blow dry your hair once a week.
You don't have to use a lot of conditioner. It should be about the size of a.......I don't know. But it should be smaller than the amount of shampoo you use.
You don't have to get deep conditioning professionally. You can treat your hair to a leave in conditioner twice a week. I recommend the one from Garnier Fructis, $4.

To prepare a realy quick hair conditoner try this:
1 egg + 1 tsp vinegar + Glycerin
OR
1 egg + Honey + 2 tsp olive oil.
Massage this mixture all over and leave for 15 - 20 mins and then wash off with shampoo.
Soft hair: Warm up olive oil in the microwave and put it on dry hair, making sure you distribute it evenly. Wrap in a towel for a half hour, then wash your hair.
Hair rinse: Dilute 1 cup of apple cider vinegar in a quart of warm water. After you shampoo, rinse your hair with that; it makes it very shiny.
A very very cheap recipe? Rinse your hair in cold water. It's free and it makes your hair shiny.
Ingredients:
1/2 (120 ml) cup hair conditioner
1/4 (60 ml) cup honey
1 (15 ml) tablespoon almond oil
Directions:
Mix together the ingredients and blend well. Pour the mixture over your damp hair and work it in. Leave it on for about 20 minutes for a good, deep conditioning. Rinse it out.
Frizzines comes from damage to your hair so do a lot of deep conditioning. heres another homeade recipe.
Avocado Deep Conditioner
Ingredients:
1 small jar of mayonnaise
1/2 avocado
Directions :
Peel avocado and remove pit. Mix all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl with your hands until it's a consistent green color. Smooth into hair being careful to work it to the ends. Use shower cap or plastic wrap to seal body heat in. Leave on hair for 20 minutes. For deeper conditioning wrap a hot, damp towel around your head over the plastic, or use a hair dryer set to a low to medium heat setting.
Shiny Soft Hair Treatment
In a small bowl, mash and combine: 1 avocado (1/2 for shorter hair)
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon olive oil

Banana Bread Head

Ingredients:
* 1 ripe avocado, mashed
* 2 tablespoons yogurt
* 1 small lime
Directions:
Grate 1-2 tablespoons of zest from the outer skin of the lime; reserve. Mash the pulp of one very ripe avocado together with 2 tablespoons of yogurt and add lime zest . Massage mixture thoroughly into your hair and scalp. It's best if your hair is already wet and warm from the shower to aid absorption of the conditioning oils. Wrap hair with a plastic shower cap or wet towel, let penetrate for 20 minutes. Shampoo and lightly condition.

My hair is SO dry no matter what profuct I use!? Wash less often, watch the products you use make sure they are not alcohol based. I have found that I have good luck with the dyed hair shampoo and conditioner. I use a couple of Great clips products to make it lay down too, along with a flat iron.

Rub it all over your hair and then wrap in a warm towel for about 30 minutes before rinsing out. My mom used to do this for her dry coarse hair every couple of weeks for extra conditioning.

OR ..... Soak your head in olive oil. It is all natural and will wash out.
Try washing your hair only once or twice a week and pin your hair up at night so that the ends of your hair is close to your scalp. That way the natural oils of your scalp will moisturize and distribute through your roots.
IF all else fails, use mayonaise. its very healthy and moisturizing for your hair also.
My hair is SO dry no matter what profuct I use!? I had the same problem when i first got highlights. Well i used Sebastian Intensive Treatment its in a little pack it costs like $2. I did that every week for a month. It works great for restoring it. Every day i use Biosilk oil called Silk Therapy it makes my hair shiny and not oily nor dry just perfect. I use that every day after i take shower and it will give it its healthy shine again. Never use hot nor cold water use it just in between because you don't want to cause dandruff or over drying or even oily hair.
My hair is SO dry no matter what profuct I use!? You may just be using the wrong products. Use a deep conditioner a few times a week that is for damaged hair. I really like Redken Butter Treat, which is a deep conditioner that you can use 3-4 times a week. Also, for every day, you may want to get a new shampoo and conditioner (Redken has a few shampoos and conditioners that are really good for damaged hair: All Soft, Smooth Down, or Extreme). You mentioned you have to shower daily, but does that necessarily mean you need to wash your hair daily, too? If possible, avoid washing your hair every day. If you have to, you can at least rinse it really good (without shampooing) then condition it...which is less damaging, but wont leave you feeling dirty.
If you use any type of heat styling, be sure that you use a heat protectant, like Nexxus Heat Protexx or Redken Heat Glide. Heat styling causes a LOT of damage, especially to hair that is already damaged.
Continue with the regular trims, which should prevent further damage, but if you can, maybe take off a little more than you would when you trim. All of the conditioners and protectants will make your hair texture feel better and healthier, but you can't really do a lot to actually fix the damage from color, so the main goal is to just keep your hair manageable and hold on decently to the healthiness it still has while you work to get rid of the colored, damaged parts.
