I have extremely dry hair that was extremely damaged and i found the best thing to repair my hair was peanut oil, oddly enough. If you can't find it at your grocery store you can find it in any Asian supermarket.

pantene is a great shampoo,also try dove,my friend uses sunsilk,she says that its great,they have it for alot of hair types.
