My thick hair used to be dry and frizzy from using my hair straightener. Then I got Herbal Essence's HELLO HYDRATION! That made my hair go from Sahara dry to silky, shiny, and bouncy! I swear by it!

Vive doesn't work for my hair. I've just switched to Fructice [sp?] and it adds loads of shine and doesn't make your hair too oily,.

i use the same stuff and it worls great for me. The one i get is in the pink bottle. buy both the shampoo and the conditioner

None. The ones that say on the bottle "for thick dry frizzy hair" aren't really for thick dry frizzy hair. Good luck.

Sunsilk is really good, though for the frizzyness i'd just say get some protector for your hair and straighten it :)

I have the same hair type and I use Dove conditoner and shampoo. They have an extra moisturizing one. It works really well for me.

When my hair was longer I needed something that would undo the damage from blow drying and soothe my chronically dry hair.. Nexxus therappe shampoo and Humectress condioner worked like magic... But I dont use them right now because my hair is short for the summertime.

Try a deep conditioner before you ditch your current stuff. Or just leave your conditioner on your hair throughout your whole shower, then wash it right before you get out. Sunsilk is good if that doesn't help.

vive pro is what I us. The conditioner you leave in your hair after washing it. It works fantastic!

If I use it every day, even my thick, dry, frizzy, damaged hair is so soft and silky, I can't believe it.

Dove Regenerist works wonders. Dont use garnier frutis because it has waxes that stay in your hair and it does some horrible things.

I tried Vive Pro and wasn't all that impressed. Pantene Time Renewel works pretty well.. its really thick and creamy.

theres a product line called ion, i get it at the beauty supply. they have a conditioner that repairs damaged hair, its great. also feria has a conditioner for colored hair (beauty supply too) it smells great. even if your hair isnt color treated, the products have softeners that are safe for regular hair. procclaim makes a glossing polish that makes frizzy hair smooth and shiny. ok so im obsessed with the condition of my hair, you could eat off it! ha ha!

I swear by Pantene smooth and sleek. It makes your hair so soft, but you should consider getting most of the dry stuff trimmed off, cause you will just contini=ue to have breakage and it will make you hair look worse, it definitly helps with frizzy hair though, also I use Pantene mousturizing deep conditioner along with the smooth and sleek stuff. Oh and some other rhings that will help is when you wash your hair don't use hot water only luke warm to warm, any hotter dries your hair out, also, when you shampoo your hair use most of the shampoo on the top of your haid and not so much on your ends, cause the shampoo strips your hair of most of it's oils so since your hair is already dry it makes it worse, and when you use conditioner use it mostly on your ends and not so much on top. Honestly you described my hair to a T. What I use is Dove hydrating shampoo and I use Neutrogena hair mask which is a deep conditioning treatment (its in an orange tub and tube) this really helps tame my hair and also stops hair loss. I noticed when I use pantene or L'oreal my hair falls a great deal. Next for styling to tame the hair from frizzing up or looking extremely dry I use biosilk silk therapy this keeps the hair looking hydrated and glossy. Another tip I got from a hair expert is that everyone's pH level is different not every one needs to shampoo everyday. As gross as that may sound your hair NEEDS the oils so that it can fix and hydrate its ownself that is a main cause of dry frizzy hair. You may need to wash your hair once a week if that.
