There are several things you can do.
- Wash your hair as normal, and put lots of conditioner in it. Don't rinse it out. Let the conditioner stay in your hair for a while, then rinse it out. You don't have to rinse it all out, just get most of it.
- Wash your hair as normal with shampoo and conditoner. when you are done put a little conditioner in your hair ends and just leave it in.
- Massage olive oil into your scalp and into your hair. Leave it in your hair for a while before you rinse it out. Olive oil can be a bit tricky to get completely out of your hair, but no problem if you follow this tip: when you go to rinse out the olive oil, put some shampoo in your hair before you get your hair wet. just shampoo like you normally do, but with out water. then rinse it out and shampoo again like normal.
There are also special products available to keep your hair from getting sundamaged. Go to a hair saloon and ask them to recommend products that will work for your hair and your problems. THe products might be a bit more expencive, but they are worth it.
Good Luck .)

Whats the best at home remedy for dry summer hair?
I have very thick hair, and living in the Vegas heat it was very hard to keep it under control. I tried mayo, eggs and even expensive shampoo. But my aunt who is a beautician told me to get natural lotion. Something with Aloe or Lavender in it, and after you wash you hair while it is damp put a small amount on you hands and run it threw your hair. Be sure not to use to much it can make it greasy but you can always add more if there is too little.
Let your hair dry naturally. The Aloe or lavender with dry into your hair and help lock in moisture. try not to use anything with oil base though
