He's only two years old, and all of the shampoos and conditioners and what not people have told me about seem to be made specifically for adults. He's mixed and I don't have the same hair problems he does (opposite, in fact) any ideas would be extremely helpful.

Has a very good line of hair care products especially for children.

It leaves the hair shiny, easy to manage.

Or if you want to experiment, you can use Baby Love products, also very good for the nappiest hair.

He's 2 now also finding a barber is the best thing you could do for him. Find one he will be comfortable with, because they often stick with the barber they first went to it's a man thing I have two sons one 20yrs and the other 16yrs old.

Loreal Kids usually helps... but if that doesn't work try using a leave in conditioner, or silking mender, i use leave in conditioner, and it makes it very smooth.

I also use : AUSSIE MOIST SHAMPOO %26amp; MOIST CONDITIONER

Oh sweetie, I feel your pain! I went through the exact same problem with my daughters hair. NOTHING that anyone suggested worked. By the way, if pink oil doesn't work on his hair, don't listen to people trying to convince you you're wrong....it doesn't work for everyone! What I've found works is Motions brand shampoo and conditioner (not a combo-separate bottles), Motions leave in conditioner spray, and we use Pantene Pro-V for Women of color leave in conditioner.

If none of those work, it's basically a try a see deal. You just have to try and see what works for him. Don't put any perms or anything in his hair.

Being only 2 years old you really need to watch what you are putting on his head.. some shampoos are a lot stronger than others, this could cause his hair to dry out. try either putting a very small amount of baby oil in your hands rub your hands together, to spread it between both hands, and massage into his head and scalp. this should help for many problems with childrens hair care. Or buy a very gentle moouse product, and try that. Make sure that it says that it will not leave a residue.

you want to use a conditioner made for children like motions for kids and try doing it 2 times a week. if this doesn't help find someone who can braid to the scalp and get it braided trust me I understand I have the same problem with my hair.

A very small dab of vo5 or leave in conditioner. Warm in your hands first then apply as evenly as possible.

My son is mixed also. I use detangler spray and that helps me comb through it and gives it enough moisture to make his curl nice. I also found that putting a small amount of bath and body works hand lotion in his hair helps give it just enough moisture plus it smells great! :)

Sometimes is not the shampoo that matters. Maybe he lacks some kind of vitamin or he is not eating a balanced diet. Try to let him take some black seasame porridege, or seaweed products, maybe that will change the situation. Can also try multi-vitamin for kids. This will take time, but have to be patient, anyways those are good food for kids, so no harm trying.

what i do is wash the hair with pink oil moisturizing shampoo then put baby oil then pcj pretty n silky oil moisturizing cream . also don't wash the hair every day once every other week
