I wash my hair every alternate day but its just getting worse. Please help

dont use a hair dryer... ever... it makes your hair more curly...

make sure that you have a good shampoo and conditioner for a start... i use head%26amp;shoulders anti-dandruff shampoo (and conditoner) and it seems to be working...

Try rubbing in some aloe vera get in your hair, massage if for a few minutes and then shampoo it -later use a good conditioner. this will make your hair soft and manageable.

cut it short.

wash it whenever you feel it is dirty.

wash it everyday if you are a person whom easily sweat.

sometimes i smell those people that didn't wash their hairs ?.. or sweat a lot, i have to remind myself not to be one of them.

You could try cutting down to shampooing twice a week. But do rinse and condition everyday. Don't put products containing alcohol in your hair such as hairspray. Bedhead Manipulator is a good product, a bit expensive but it lasts a long time.

I have very curly dry (but fine) hair, and I was my hair as rarely as possible. I never use a blow dryer as it just makes a frizz out of everything. I keep my hair shorter than one inch long (I am female) and it combs up in seconds in the morning! Sometimes I use a little spritz to add some bounce back in.

actually shampoo nor conditioner wouldn't be the answer for your problem. GO THE NATURAL WAY. this might sound gross or something but try skipping washing your hair atleast 2 times a week. it will make your hair shiny and smooth because your scalp will bring out natural oils that will help nourish your hair. and i suggest you to always BRUSH your hair so that it will spread he oil till the tips of your hair. only use a comb after taking a shower. :) peace out! :)

Don't use shampoos containing ammonium laureth sulfate. That ingredient is unnecessary and causes extra suds that dry out your hair (suds are an attraction to alot of people, thats why shampoo companies put it in). Find a shampoo that has panthenol. Use a deep moisturizing conditioner. And if that is not enough, use a leave-in conditioner.

instead of shampooing and conditioning every alternate day,wash ur hair twice a week. and one hr before every wash massage ur hair with plenty of lukewarm olive oil...it is best for dry hair and can do wonders. i had also been suffering from a similar problem but this three step process has really helped me
