Does sun-in dry out your hair???
Yes! I used a lot of sun-in in my hair and it killed it. Eventually I could not get rid of the frizz. I would stick to a professional doing highlights. They knopw what they are doing. But basically anything that lightens your hair is damaging.
Iknow it sucks, but it's true!

Green Eye Girl had some good advice. One time my friend and I did 'highlights' with Sun-In and then went tanning and our hair turned orange. Bad experience lol. Don't do that!

Sun-in is a disaster in a bottle.
Does sun-in dry out your hair???
I've always had good results with it but I'm medium-blond to begin with. Keep close tabs on your hair condition and use some conditioner if it starts to feel dry.
Does sun-in dry out your hair???
Please Please don't use Sun-in. I have been a hairstylist for 6 years and have seen the damage it can do. Sun-in as well as some other over the counter hair colors contain metallic salts that can completely ruin your hair. I've seen this happen. If you try and recolor a blond tone or bleach trough the metallic salts your hair can get black or orange spots and break off. Now this isn't the case with everyone, hard water has an effect on the sun-in also. Be very cautious with it, especially if you have medium brown or darker hair.

not only will it dry out your hair but turn it a awful color and it might fall out! sun in is lemon juice and alcohol put it on your skin for a hour and see what it does! in the sun!
Does sun-in dry out your hair???
I used it for a few years and loved it, I also have the bottom of my hair purple but if any of the sun-in and purple dye come into contact it goes orange and damages the hair. I think its ok if its used infrequently and carefully.
