Try using a deep conditioner every time you wash your hair, provided it doesn't make your hair greasy, which it usually won't with curly hair, and don't shampoo every time (rinse, put a deep conditioner in, and wash it out according to the instructions). Try shampooing maybe once a week, or better yet, only when you notice product build up. Maybe it sounds gross, but according to my best friend's radically overpaid hair stylist , conditioner has many of the same ingredients as shampoo, so your hair isn't really staying dirty, and isn't getting dryed out by the shampoo. It does work for my naturally curly hair, without greasyness, but everyone's different.

Aveda deep conditioners are great, or Bed Head "dumb blonde" deep conditioner, if you can afford it, but I've found that most of the chain store deep conditioners work fine, too, though it may take a little experimenting there to find which ones work best for you.

In case you're not used to curly hair in general: Avoid blowdryers as much as you can, even with a diffuser, and if you use them, don't dry your hair all the way. They'll frizz curly or wavy hair like crazy if you don't do it just right, and dry it out more at the same time. As much as possible, use some kind of scrunch spray, or curl booster in your hair when it's wet (or both, though avoid using two oily products together), yes, it may take awhile to find the right combo, then let it dry naturally, running your fingers through curls while drying as little as possible after an initial (while wet) styling to keep away the frizz. Hope this helps!

Try the Hot Oil treatments. V05 or something like that?

Or the Neutrogena Triple Moisture treatments work really well.

You can also try and get a cut at a salon to bring back some life.

they have hot oil treatments you could use Read directions on them. Don't wash your hair with shampoo daily just use conditioner ! you may need your ends trimmed , this will encourage your hair to grow. also massaging your finger nails stimulates hair growth also !!

Get some salon style products. Loreals Nature therapy really helped me out you can get it at Sallys. It has an orange lid with a yellow bottom.

the best thing i have ever used for my hair when its dried and damaged is Pantene Pro-v Intensive Restoration Treatment. It's like a conditioner that you leave in your hair for about 10 minutes, then rinse. It will fix almost all of your problems with your hair, and the best part is, it is only about $4.

go see/talk to a salon professional. Till then try some Lo-real moisturizing shampoo and Lo-real Nature's therapy conditioner..it works wonders. You can buy it at any sally beauty supply store. Costs about $12.00 for the conditioner andabout $6.00 for the shampoo but it's well worth the money!

Hot oil treatment followed with a deep moisturizing conditioner, use a leave in afterward that seals in moisture, like a cream that enhances shine and reduces frizz, I like the curl line of Garnier Fruictis.
