i have a long and dense hair but it look very dull... lifeless ... i want my hair to shine and soft......
Dry and lifeless hair?
I have several suggestions.
The first and I think the best...Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment. This stuff turned my hair from straw to silk. I'd fried my hair using a cheap highlighting kit (I should have known better!) It was dry, flat and had no life. I used to Ojon and even my hubby noticed a difference. You can find it at sephora.com and drugstore.com
The second is Jojoba Oil. Massage a few drops into hair and leave it in for an hour or more then shampoo and condition. This is wonderful for shiny healthy hair. There are even hairbrushes with this oil in it. You can find this in any healthfood store.
And the third is just different things you can do. Leave your conditioner in for 5 minutes or more before rinsing. This really does make a big difference. I recommend John Frieda Glossing Conditioner. It's made with olive oil and smells wonderful. But the best part is how full and shiny it makes your hair. Also, finish with a cool rinse. Some people say this does nothing, but I sure see a difference in my hair when I do it. And stay away from hot styling tools. If you must blow dry, use Sinsilk Leave in Spray Conditioner first.
I know this was a long answer but I really like to offer suggestions for hair care!
I hope I helped!

There are a couple of things you can do. First do not even bother with cheap shampoo and conditioner. Dove intense mousture shampoo and conditioner is pretty good, and aussie makes a good leave in conditioner which is also a good detangler, leading to my second point; stay away from heat styling, no blow drying if you can help it. Be careful when you brush it not to break it. Split ends are like broken nails, they cannot be "healed" so trim the dead ends and brush it carefully. GOOD LUCK!!

First off get a haircut that will get rid of any split ends, then use a deep conditioning treatment once a week ( I like Charles Worthington Results, lilac tub) also soak you hair in coconut oil once a week, you can buy a tub of this from Superdrug for about a pound.
When styling use a serum, I like Paul Mitchells Super Skinny Serum but be careful not to use too many products on your hair as this can leave it looking dull.
Hope this helps :)
