yes, it will dry your hair out. and why would you want a perm to straighten it? if you get a perm, it's so that you can have consistently curly hair

well perms look good on some people. and if u don't treatur hair right then yes ur hair will get dried out. but once u get the perm u will have to keep getting that done becuz it will turn out into this ugly looking wavy hair. it will look burned. i wouldn't get it! if u want it curly then use a curling iron.

Maybe You Should Try A Mild Relaxer, Get It Done Professionally So You Won't Over Process Your Hair And Yes You Can Straighten It As Often As You Like But Be Aware That Constant Heat Can Damage Your Hair..
